    Slowly backing out than making a big call. This trader, HXiRSK, had loaded up on $SOL months ago , almost 92K tokens at around $175, which is a pretty serious position. But after the Drift Protocol exploit, things clearly didn’t go the way he expected. So now he’s been trimming it down, piece by piece. Recently sold another 47K SOL--about $4M -- not to take profit, but just to reduce the damage. And yeah, overall losses have already crossed $4M… not exactly small. What’s left is just around 5.4K SOL, roughly $430K, which feels tiny compared to where he started.     I feel sorry for @DriftProtocol users. Every protocol should review opsec. Don’t make it about solana or ethereum or Hyperliquid. Dont grave dance. This was one vulnerability there might be another. Review everything, especially simple things

    The biggest hack in Solana's history Drift Protocol just got breached for $285M. This is purely an opsec issue.. their admin key leaked. How did the attacker execute $285M in just 12 minutes? The timeline had been prepared for a while. Preparation phase: ‣ Hacker created a fake token "CarbonVote" (CVT) a few weeks ago. ‣ Created a liquidity pool on Raydium with only $500 capital. ‣ Conducted wash trades to create a fake price history in the oracle. Execution day (April 1, 2026): ‣ Hacker obtained access to Drift's admin key. ‣ Used the key to bypass all withdrawal limits. ‣ Injected the fake CVT market into the system. ‣ Deposited bogus CVT as collateral using the manipulated oracle price. In 12 minutes, across 31 transactions.. everything was done. JLP, USDC, BTC, ETH worth hundreds of millions of dollars were completely drained. At 18:10 GMT the Drift team just realized something was off and managed to tweet a warning. The protocol fully paused at 18:58 GMT.. but it was already too late. The funds were immediately routed through Jupiter. Bridged to Ethereum and swapped for over 38k ETH. The contagion effect instantly spread across the entire ecosystem. - Drift's TVL dropped by half. - DRIFT token dumped 35%. - Other yield protocols that were moving funds there were forced to pause redemptions. No matter how strong the audit or how large the TVL, it’s futile if private key management is still sloppy. Welcome to bear market baby, don cu no pampedak don cu no pampedak

    🚨Security Alert @DRIFTPROTOCOL has been exploited for $270 million. Around 980,000 $SOL has been drained from the protocol so far. At first glance, this appears to be a multi-sig private key compromise. The attacker used the compromised access to manipulate the collateral market for a worthless token (CVT), then used CVT as collateral to borrow and drain assets from the protocol.

    🚨BREAKING: Drift Protocol just got drained for over $200 million Solana's largest perps DEX. Gone in one transaction batch. The attacker didn't find a smart contract bug. They didn't exploit a flash loan. They walked in with the keys. On-chain data shows a single account initiating massive outbound transfers.
