    Just read a new piece from @animocabrands. Here's my TL;DR on how the prediction markets user base changed over time. Prediction markets are starting to get noticed by financial giants: • ICE invested $2B • Bloomberg and Google Finance are distributing probabilities This is where it gets interesting. User split by betting volume: • 70% retail contributes 2% of volume • The rest of the volume is from institutions and algorithmic traders Around 70% of Polymarket wallets have negative PnL. These big players capture a majority of the value through arbitrage and market making, focusing only on profitability. Institutions like Jump Trading and SIG captured $40M through arbitrage. The top 3 algorithmic wallets alone pulled $4.2M in near risk-free profit. Even with 70% of users showing negative PnL, they stick around. These users treat Prediction Markets like a news feed. Their visit duration is longer than sites like CNN or CNBC. Turns out users are participating only to consume information, while institutions and pro users fill their pockets. It's never enough for the big players, is it?

    What’s the bigger story right now: stablecoins as real payments, or stablecoins as the new trading rails? I pulled 5 YoY trends from @artemis ↓ 1. Transaction volume ripped in 2025 $33T in stablecoin volume, +72% YoY 2. $USDC led volume vs $USDT USDC: $18.3T USDT: $13.3T 3. Supply is climbing again Total stablecoin supply pushed back to ~$300B+ 4. The chain mix keeps shifting Ethereum is still #1, but Tron has a huge share and keeps growing 5. Non-USD stables are still tiny Euro stables are a rounding error vs USD stables We’ll see it in who holds share, and where the growth shows up first.
