They just implemented real-time PoC weight normalization. Look at the attached table - A100s and H100s just saw their weights drop by 12-18% overnight because the effective reference window got longer
If you deposited the bare minimum collateral based on the old nominal weights, this adjustment just pushed you under the threshold. Boom, you catch the 5x penalty anyway. The team is explicitly telling miners to deposit up to a 2x buffer just to survive these fluctuations
Market-wise, this gets even more interesting. Miners are forced to lock $GNK to keep earning, but now they are heavily incentivized to lock double the requirement just to sleep safely at night. With all this extra yield stuck in collateral buffers, is this quiet structural bullishness, or are we just shifting the inevitable dump to a later date?
