    Zcash new nonprofit organization Sovright has launched a wallet recovery tool called Argos, helping early Zcash users recover shielded address funds that were trapped after the old ZEC Wallet Lite stopped being maintained in 2022. Sovright Executive Chair Michelle Lai said Argos is aimed at users who still hold the old wallet mnemonic, but the number of affected addresses cannot yet be confirmed; the amount of funds involved is considered “significant,” mainly affecting early and long‑term Zcash supporters.     The co-founder of Zcash zcash:native runs a 200-person company and still can't pay salaries onchain. Why? because any employee could open a browser and read what every coworker earns "privacy is a must" the transparency we sell as the feature is the thing blocking the economy we're promising. you don't need more conviction. you need fewer witnesses.

    RESEARCH: @Zcash is rebuilding how a shielded chain stores state, and the throughput gains follow from that rather than the other way around. Today a private wallet finds its own funds by trial-decrypting the chain's encrypted outputs one by one. That cost grows with every new user.

    Project Tachyon, led by Sean Bowe, restructures the state model in three parts: wallets carry a recursive proof of their own balance, nodes keep nullifiers for a recent window then prune the rest, and payment secrets move off-chain. Decoupled from history, block size and frequency can rise.

    $ZEC It may take a while. But the next time ZEC closes a weekly candle above $700, I'll be all in on it. That level has rejected every major rally for the last eight years. And the longer a level holds as resistance, the more meaningful it becomes when it finally breaks. I don't know exactly when it'll happen. But when $700 eventually gives way, I think ZEC enters a completely different realm of price discovery.
