Nexo (NEXO)

Nexo continues in Europe.

While many providers are under pressure from MiCA, Nexo sets up its EWR structure via regulated partners. For users this means: no stop, no forced migration, no action needed.

Deposits, withdrawals, trading, Card, Loyalty and NEXO Token benefits are said by Nexo to remain normally available.

The important difference: In the background, Europe now operates more through MiCAR‑regulated infrastructure. MiCA is reshaping the market and Nexo remains part of it.

If you look at https://t.co/5Q54y9GTIV, you'll notice that the volume on @Visa cards is incredibly high compared to @Mastercard.

In May alone, Visa cards showed a volume of $838M, while Mastercard only reached $ 22M. The chart by @PaymentScan is built from available data and is constantly updated, which is normal. Still, this gap is more likely driven by incomplete data than by complete Visa dominance.

In this chart, I added data from @DefiLlama on the @Nexo card, which uses Mastercard as its issuer, and the figures changed dramatically - the gap is no longer so wide. The June data shows a total volume of $251M for Mastercard cards and $443M for Visa.

The data may not be entirely accurate, as DefiLlama's methodology for Nexo Card volume is not publicly available.

Mastercard isn't lagging behind - we simply have incomplete data on most of this issuer's card products.
