    According to a report by Decrypt, Carl Erik Rinsch, the director of the film “47 Ronin,” was sentenced by the U.S. Southern District of New York Federal Court to 30 months in prison for using the $11 million production funds provided by Netflix for stock option and cryptocurrency speculation. Prosecutors said Rinsch first lost $5.9 million in stock option trades, then transferred more than $4 million remaining to Kraken to purchase Dogecoin, and in 2021 cashed out nearly $27 million, subsequently buying luxury cars, watches and other luxury goods. The court also ordered three years of supervised release and required him to repay Netflix $11 million. https://t.co/b24kijnKge
