On April 20 2025 a bug in Bitget's market making bot caused the VOXEL/USDT pair to bounce between $0.125 and $0.138 every few seconds like clockwork

Eight accounts drained over $20 million before Bitget hit the kill switch

Bitget lost roughly $100 million from its own treasury, rolled back every trade and is now suing all eight accounts

The CEO had publicly criticized Hyperliquid for doing the exact same thing one month earlier
