    The top 1 lending infra got its V4 upgrade. The bigger you're, the faster you need to evolve, and that sounds correct to @aave. At $23.8b value managed across endless expansions into new networks and markets (not only crypto), Aave definitely needs upgrades. Let's take a tour: + v2 - end of 2020, adding flash loans, debt tokenization, improvement in risk parameter and better gas-efficiency + v3 - 2022, focusing in cross-chain lending, new features include isolation mode, E-mode and tighter integration with Aave's stablecoin GHO + v4 - live since Mar 30, is the latest version, resulting in a brand new architecture Each version had a higher peak TVL, which shows the real success.     something that's been bugging me for a while: the people being trained to run the next generation of financial institutions have ZERO formal education in DeFi. meanwhile BlackRock, JPMorgan and Franklin Templeton are already using this infrastructure. that's a serious disconnect. @1inch just led a coalition of 20+ projects sending an open letter to US business and law schools asking them to fix that. the ask isn't radical, just add blockchain and DeFi as a core module instead of treating it as an elective. and honestly it's overdue. most people building in this space are self-taught. that's fine for developers but the industry also needs people with proper grounding in risk management, legal frameworks and compliance. the collapses we've seen in crypto weren't just technical failures, they were governance failures. and that's an education problem. the technology is already being used at institutional level. education is just lagging behind where the industry actually is.
