And $PI users are confused right now…

If you check the explorer… it still shows version 20.

So naturally people are asking: which one is real?

Here’s what actually happened👇

The network IS running on v21.2, but the explorer hasn’t fully updated yet.

Basically:

→ backend updated ✅
→ frontend lagging ❌

This kind of mismatch happens due to:

→ sync delays
→ staged rollouts
→ data propagation issues

So it looks confusing… but it’s not a bug or failure

What’s new in v21.2? 👇

• Better node performance
• Improved validation
• Stronger network stability
• And more importantly…

It’s a step towards the smart contracts and dApps on Pi.

Upcoming roadmap:

→ v22.1 (April)
→ v23.0 (May – expected smart contracts)

If you’re a dev/node operator: always check the codebase for real status.
