I recently took some time to seriously finish reading my cousin's new book "Binance Life".

At first I just wanted to see how someone who has been at the center of the industry's boom for so many years would look back and tell his story. But after really digging into it, I found that the most moving part of the book is not how successful CZ is, nor how big Binance later became, but that it is written with enough honesty.

It doesn't deliberately package hardship into legend, nor does it lightly gloss over the lows and setbacks. Many experiences, many choices, many costs are laid out openly. Because of that, after reading, what stays in my mind is not the exhilaration you get after reading a successful person's biography, but a more complex, heavier feeling.

It made me rethink how a person, through the constant ups and downs of life, gradually develops his own judgment, resilience, and sense of order.

It's more like watching someone figure out how not to lose themselves amid long-term uncertainty.

This really hits me. Because after staying in Web3 for a while, everyone talks daily about market conditions, narratives, expectations, opportunities, reversals – it looks lively on the surface, but underneath everything is volatility. Prices fluctuate, emotions fluctuate, relationships fluctuate, even many people's judgments fluctuate. You gradually realize that the scarcest thing in this industry may not be opportunities or intelligence, but stability.

So the part of the book that resonates most with me is not how many highlights it writes, but that it doesn't hide the difficult moments.

Many people look at CZ and only see the later results: scale, influence, efficiency, execution. Yet the weightier parts in the book are the less glamorous phases. You see that he didn't rise smoothly, nor did he succeed by a single stroke of luck. He is more like someone who, no matter how chaotic the situation, first steadies himself and then keeps moving forward.

That kind of temperament is something people who have been in the market can really feel.

Because retail investors lose most easily not just due to lack of knowledge or slower news, often they are defeated by themselves first. A small rise makes them hype, a small drop makes them question life; when the market is up they feel they see through everything, when it’s down they want to overturn the past. Many people don’t lose to the market, they lose to their own uncontrolled emotional system.

So when I read "Binance Life," what I see is not how strong a successful person is, but how a person cultivates his core.

This is very important.

Truly powerful people are often not those who have never fallen, but those who, after falling, still retain judgment, keep rhythm, and stay intact. In short, no matter how chaotic the outside is, the order inside them keeps running. They know what is noise and what is key; what is worth bearing and what must be let go; when to act fast and when to endure.

It sounds like chicken soup, but in reality it’s especially hard.

Especially in the crypto industry, you understand this more. Because no one can always hit the right rhythm here, nor can anyone always stand at the center of the wind.
