What you see is the Gate USDPT Carnival kicking off, and I see another wool‑grabbing opportunity.
When I join this kind of event, I basically check three things first:
First, is the participation threshold high?
Second, is the prize pool big?
Third, is it an operation I would do anyway, with the added chance of getting a reward.
This one is a relatively simple type—not the kind that requires completing a bunch of complex tasks—but turns many actions people already do—depositing, trading, inviting friends—into rewards.
If you already have funds on @Gate_zh, or are planning to allocate some USDPT soon, you can easily join.
I pay particular attention to the trading rewards. A minimum cumulative trade of $500 lets you share the prize pool; the larger the volume, the higher the reward. If you already have trading needs, it’s essentially an extra layer of profit.
The deposit rewards are also good; once your net deposit meets the requirement you can share the pool without extra hassle.
If you usually share events with friends, don’t forget to claim the invitation reward—it’s just easy money.
But a reminder: don’t force trade volume just for the event, and certainly don’t take unnecessary risk for the reward. The most comfortable way to play these events is to keep doing what you would already trade and pick up the reward, or keep holding positions and then skim the wool.
I’ve always thought that true participants don’t chase the highest‑paying event; they align the event with their own trading plan. Over the long term, the extra rewards you collect can be quite substantial.
So, if you’re already on Gate, or are about to buy some USDPT, feel free to register; don’t miss out on any reward you can get.
