ZetaChain transitions to AI memory layer and shuts down deposits, facing security risks
ZetaChain announced that as it transforms into a private memory layer for AI, it will gradually shut down its old cross-chain infrastructure and instead focus on Anuma and new directions such as user-owned memory, identity, permissions, payments, and delegation. According to the plan, ZetaChain closed platform deposits on June 1, 2026, and opened the final withdrawal window. Previously, on April 27, ZetaChain was exploited by attackers who took advantage of a vulnerability in the cross-chain messaging system, stealing $333,868 from three internal team wallets. https://t.co/wh4SvFdNdq
