There were: – 1,852 mainnets – 1,621 testnets EVM dominates at 81.5% share, but only 46.9% made it to mainnet – below the 53.3% average. Most EVM chains stayed experimental. On the other hand, non-EVMs get deployed on mainnet consistently: – WASM: 85.6% – COSVM: 69.1% mainnet rate On the other hand, L2s are more standardized. 95.9% run EVM for compatibility reasons, so there's no need for groundbreaking innovation in this sector. Lastly, L3 represents around 3.8% of networks, with 63% reaching mainnet. @arbitrum dominates this sector, with 78.6% of deployments. The industry is finally maturing beyond constant testing.

There's a well-known influencer who built software for farming airdrops and later sold them publicly. He himself received millions from $ARB (yes, 2023), $BLUR, $ARKM, $WLD, $JTO, $TIA, and the list goes on... Also, there is @Cbb0fe, who probably farmed high 7 figures from airdrops... still not retired.
