My Hopium : The integration between Xverse and Hyperliquid creates a powerful pipeline for Hyperliquid's massive liquidity to flow directly into Stacks. When traders want to rotate their investment profits made in USDC on Hyperliquid into secure, Bitcoin-based assets, they can now seamlessly swap them into Stacks’ sBTC or STX spot assets within the exact same wallet. Furthermore, with Xverse maximizing accessibility to STX perpetual futures trading inside Hyperliquid, it will drive overall trading volume growth. Ultimately, by encouraging users to deposit these acquired STX and sBTC assets into high-yield Stacks DeFi protocols as collateral, it will naturally absorb capital from Hyperliquid whales into the Stacks ecosystem. In conclusion, the bridge built by Xverse has set the perfect stage for Hyperliquid’s abundant capital to inevitably permeate the Stacks Bitcoin DeFi infrastructure.

I, too, believe in BTCFi. That’s why I hold STACKS. I studied Bitcoin and was fascinated by the idea that Bitcoin must flow. However, the connection to traditional markets through ETFs and the launch of wrapped Bitcoin have left me confused. I've talked about @Stacks many times before because the core idea always resonated with me: make BTC more productive. Since Bitcoin is the biggest asset in crypto, the capital markets around it still feel super early. And what I mean is that other teams are building in the same broader BTCFi direction. They're basically Bitcoin L2s trying to bring existing DeFi patterns to Bitcoin, usually through EVM-style execution, bridges, or app-layer ecosystems. But the Stacks angle feels a bit different because the focus is on making BTC more useful without changing the ethos of what it was meant to be in the first place.
