Hey @KiiChainio Infrastructure only matters if it changes something real. Let me introduce you to Mama Aisha, a 47-year‑old widow and small business owner in the bustling Balogun Market, Lagos, Nigeria. Every month, her younger brother who works as a nurse in London sends her £300 (roughly ₦480,000 - ₦520,000 depending on the day). This money is not luxury, it is survival and growth capital. It pays for her children’s school fees, restocks her shop with fabrics, Ankara, and household provisions, and helps her support her elderly mother. But here’s the painful reality of the current global FX and settlement system: The money leaves her brother’s UK account instantly, yet it takes between 3 to 7 working days before Mama Aisha can touch it in Lagos. Sometimes longer during festive periods or when banks have “system issues.” Along the way, she loses heavily: Money transfer operators and banks charge between 7% to 12% in combined fees and terrible exchange rates. The Naira amount she finally receives is often much lower than what was promised because of hidden spreads and delays. If the transfer arrives on a weekend or public holiday, she has to wait till the next banking day while inflation quietly eats the value. I’ve seen this story play out too many times in Nigeria. A mother waiting anxiously for school fees, a trader who loses a business opportunity because goods prices went up while the money was still “in transit,” or a family that simply receives less than what was sent. These frictions are not just numbers, they directly affect real lives, education, health, and economic mobility in emerging markets. Now imagine what changes when better infrastructure is introduced through KiiChain. With Kii, her brother can send stable value (USDC or any supported stablecoin) directly from the UK. On the Kii network, the funds are instantly swapped via the on‑chain FX engine into a Naira‑pegged stablecoin or routed straight to local payment rails at transparent, competitive rates. No more 3–7 day delays. No more 7–12% disappearing into middlemen and bad rates. No more “funds will reflect in 48 hours” excuses. The money arrives in minutes, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Mama Aisha gets nearly the full value immediately. She can restock her shop the same day the money is sent. She can pay school fees on time. She can even keep idle funds earning yield on‑chain while waiting for the next supply run. This single improvement does three powerful things: - Preserves value: Families and small businesses keep more of what is sent to them. - Creates speed and certainty: Traders can respond to market opportunities without fear of delays or rate fluctuations. - Builds real economic dignity: People in places like Nigeria stop being punished by slow, expensive legacy systems designed for a different era. This is not another “DeFi summer” or abstract yield farming from KiiChain. It’s building the rails that make global money movement actually work for the people who need it most → the unbanked, under‑banked, small traders, freelancers, and families across Africa and other emerging markets. When infrastructure reduces friction in cross‑border payments and FX, it doesn’t just move money faster. It moves lives forward. This is the real‑world impact I want to see. What do you think? Have you experienced similar delays and losses with international transfers? Drop your stories below. #KiiImpact

Cross-border payments are the most promising use case for stablecoins. Stablecoins address a massive need involving billions of dollars moving between countries every day, where every percentage point of fees represents real money belonging to real people. Transactions are becoming cheaper, but it’s not even about the price, it’s about the fact that transactions are becoming faster, more transparent, and more accessible.

The ~$270M @DriftProtocol exploit roughly happened like this: 1- An attacker created a synthetic token and pushed its valuation close to ~$8B 2- Two governance multisig wallets were compromised and this token was approved as collateral 3- The attacker used this collateral to borrow almost every major asset inside the protocol 4- Borrowed assets were withdrawn across multiple wallets Stolen assets are shown below ↓ The important part here is what this attack was not. This was not a smart contract bug. This was not an oracle manipulation. This was not a flash loan exploit. The protocol itself worked exactly as designed. The failure happened at the governance layer. The attacker did not break Drift. They obtained permission inside Drift. And this distinction matters more than people think. Because when security assumptions fail at the multisig level, the entire system becomes vulnerable regardless of how strong the contracts are. We have already seen this pattern multiple times: Ronin Bybit Cetus Now Drift Different chains. Same root cause. This is not a Solana issue. This is a coordination and key management issue across DeFi. Most protocols are still structurally secure at the code level but fragile at the approval layer. And until that changes, multisig governance will remain one of the largest hidden attack surfaces in the ecosystem.

Tried something cool today that I think many aren’t aware of: Confidential Swaps, which just went live on @near_intents. It lets you basically swap any asset, and what you swapped, what you received, and where it went are all untraceable. You deposit into your Confidential Account, and from that moment, you are inside a sealed environment. Here’s exactly what I did (see screenshots below): 1. Deposited 2k USDC on ARB. 2. Moved 2k USDC from my main account to my confidential account. 3. Swapped 2k USDC into ETH. 4. Sent that ETH to another confidential NEAR address I control. 5. Moved USDC from confidential to main account 6. Withdraw to wallet Ok, some notes. How you use it matters. If you do as I did: deposit 2,000 USDC, swap to to 0,97 ETH, but instead withdraw instantly to the same address, an on-chain degen could still connect the pattern. The input and output remain visible on the edges, while what happens inside stays confidential. Real confidentiality comes from how you handle the flow. For e

Update: $230M+ USDC bridged via CCTP from Solana to Ethereum across 100+ txns. 6 hours is how long Circle had to freeze stolen funds from the $280M+ Drift hack. Circle is a centralized stablecoin issuer headquartered in New York and the attack began around 12 pm ET. Why does our industry allow them to stay silent? @jerallaire @circle @usdc
