The reserve fund holds a cumulative 605 million DBR, representing 6.05% of total supply.

Most DeFi projects' data is brushed out by token emissions, using high APR subsidies to attract capital. When the money comes, the data looks good; when the subsidy stops, the capital runs away, and token price collapses.

deBridge takes the opposite path. Using real protocol revenue, it buys back its own token on the open market and locks it into the reserve fund. It doesn't print tokens to give subsidies; it earns money and buys them back.

This loop has been running for a long time.

A protocol that can form a positive loop of "real trades → real revenue → token buyback" is scarce on-chain. A reserve fund that has accrued to 6% of total supply is very strong.

Over here in US equities, the AI theme just completed its strongest quarter since 2020, with the Nasdaq up 20% in Q2, and capital sentiment is hot. In crypto, BTC is still around $60k, and altcoin valuations and sentiment are at low levels.

If you're allocating to altcoins, you must watch DBR, because the first batch of capital will inevitably find projects with real revenue, buybacks, and self‑validating fundamentals.

1/ On-chain swap, most people open an aggregator, input amount, click confirm. They never compare prices.

2/ Traditional finance has a concept called best execution; brokers have a legal duty to find the market's optimal execution price for clients.

On-chain there is no such thing; whichever aggregator you use, that's the price, and you don't know how much difference there is in between.

The price quote differences between aggregators for the same trade are larger than most people think. Probably very few people manually compare quotes; it's too tiring.

3/ After watching @Sherrypeter's video, I realized this issue is already being taken seriously.

A program simultaneously checks multiple aggregators' quotes, and after price comparison automatically selects the optimal path for execution. It's not connecting to a single DEX; it's treating several aggregators as suppliers, comparing prices, and picking the cheapest one to fulfill the trade.

In the past three months, same-chain swaps on deBridge amounted to $750 million, accounting for 40.38% of the total volume of $1.8575 billion. Same-chain transaction count exceeded 450,000, representing 53% of the total 840,000 transactions.

5/ I've held DBR for a long time; the logic when buying was simple—strong team delivery capability and solid data fundamentals.

Looking back now, it indeed hasn't stayed static with just the words "cross-chain bridge". The bridge is a starting point, not a boundary.
