i love the vision she very well explained there:

citizenship not being limited by were someone was born, but by a network they voluntarily decided to join and be part of

i also agree on the problems mentioned in this article:

baking citizenship into liquid tokens blurs the incentives and may create undesired risks and consequences when tourists are added to the equation -- or, even worse, threat actors

and i find the proposed solution very interesting, in general (quoted in the image below)

governance is one of the biggest challenges for humanity, which translates the same way to onchain/decentralized governance

i believe NEAR’s HoS under AK’s leadership is doing well and making the right steps in trying to find the working solution. one of the reasons i’ve been getting involved so much with it all as an independent community delegate
