For a long time 👇
I thought tokenized equities were simply about putting stocks on-chain
After going through the latest research from DefiLlama Research and CoinDesk Research
I think the conversation has evolved
It’s no longer just about access
It’s about building the entire ecosystem
Here are a few things that stood out to me:
▸ 7,000+ U.S. stocks & ETFs available through @binance compared with around 1,000 on Backpack according to the research.
▸ During parts of June, Binance captured nearly 60% of tokenized equity spot trading volume, and at times even out-traded the rest of the market combined
▸ bStocks crossed $100M in AUM just two weeks after launch
What I found even more interesting wasn’t the numbers
It was how everything connects
Instead of relying only on third-party tokenized equities
Binance has built an integrated stack through Binance Stocks, bStocks, and BNB Chain.
That creates a smoother path from real stock ownership to self-custodied, on-chain assets, while maintaining exposure to the underlying equities
And it doesn’t stop there 🤷♂️
Those assets can be used across the BNB Chain ecosystem through protocols like
- Aster
- Venus
- Lista DAO
- PancakeSwap
And bringing DeFi utility to equity exposure
To me, that’s the bigger story
The next phase of tokenized finance won’t be won by whoever lists the most assets.
It’ll be won by whoever builds the best ecosystem around them
If Binance Stocks and bStocks are available in your region, they’re worth exploring.
