I've been trading for a little over 20 years, and there is a principle I've always valued during that time. “Never take a trade I can't explain the reason for winning in my own words.” When I was only chasing results, there was no reproducibility. Even the +1,572% figure, if I can't articulate why it happened, it cannot be applied to the next trade – it's just past history. “Win by structure.” “Only enter positions where there is a reason to earn.” That's it.
