    The President of the United States personally extracted $1.1B across WLFI and his memecoins (not including what his friends and family made) while delivering nothing and giving people false expectations. He never cared one bit about crypto. Everything he promised and did was solely to enrich himself, and it worked. This is the reason we’re where we are today. Crypto has become a place where you can milk the shit out of people and get away with it, no matter how much crime you commit.

    One thing markets eventually become ruthless about: They stop rewarding protocols for existing. They start rewarding protocols for producing. Seeing WLFI rank among the top revenue‑generating onchain apps in Grayscale’s latest report reinforces that. ➢ $105M in protocol revenue. ➢ Top 8 across all onchain applications. Revenue doesn’t guarantee success. But it dramatically narrows the field. When liquidity gets selective, protocols with real economic output usually have a very different conversation with capital than those surviving on expectations alone. That’s the filter I expect this market to apply more often going forward.
