Why is everyone suddenly talking about X-Stocks on CT?

From my perspective, there are two main reasons:

🔹Points programs just launched in @xStocksFi → which often implies a potential future airdrop or incentives.

🔹A lot of people are burned out from farming perp DEXs, so any new narrative that could replace or complement that immediately gets attention.

So naturally, people start exploring alternatives.

I’ve known about tokenized stocks for a while, but I didn’t really pay much attention before.

Mainly because I don’t hold these equities in TradFi anyway. So for me the only real reason to interact with them would be through DeFi strategies, not just directional exposure.

The concept itself is interesting though:

Lower volatility than crypto + composability in DeFi can open strategies like:
- LP / pool strategies
- lending loops
- delta-neutral setups

The main limitation right now is volume.
Without meaningful trading activity, many of these strategies are still limited.
